London Fashion Weekend!

We hit London Fashion Weekend, a day of SHOPPING, SHOPPING, and more SHOPPING!!! This year’s venue was in the heart of central London at Somerset House, The Strand. The event brought together a diverse collection of the capitals hottest designers, trends and newcomers, offering a taste of glamour and indefinable designs at a fraction of the retail cost. The collections took this season’s tailoring to a challenging place, combining leathers with lace, silk with velvet and a combination of embroidery and embellishments.

This marrying of tailoring techniques is becoming an imminent trend amongst a number of designer products at Fashionista Outlet. The exquisite tailoring technique from this men’s tuxedo style blazer by D’Squared pays great attention to detail inside and outside and defines this blazers edgy and artistic angle on allure, perfect for office wear or formalwear for men with a more traditional or conservative sense of style.

Catwalk trends

Camilla’s Soleil Collection, was the highlight of the show with her signature style dresses, kaftans and tunics. She has incorporated drama, charm and cultural inspired prints to produce this exotic collection of clothing. The pick of the bunch was a floor length silk dress from the ‘tropical bird of paradise collection’ which showcased vibrancy, Caribbean inspired graphics and hand embroidery, three of my favourite trends into one dreamy piece. This was definitely a keep-forever investment piece that you could wear anywhere.

Like Camilla, this silk patterned, sleeveless dress and tunic by Ice Iceberg brings together femininity, worldly charm and exotic flavour to give that timeless look, ideal for a night of glamour and spice.

London Fashion Week Catwalk update!

LFW not only hosted some of the most established designers such as Eley Kishimoto, Emma Cook, Vivienne Westwood and Ella Moss, but also introduced up and coming fashion brands such as FINSK and Mimi.

Valentino is a highly respected, prominent player, to hit the global fashion arena with his distinctive visual identity mirrored in all his collections. Like Vivienne Westwood, Valentino is re-emerging to adapt a couture and vintage chic look which has been a prominent style seen throughout London Fashion Week, available to buy at Fashionista-Outlet!

This striking, collared dress by Valentino, with a bold geometric graphic pattern is a new style icon for the new season, seen on the catwalk from the likes of Jaeger and Marlene Birger.
